I owe an apology for my recent decision to try to assemble that IKEA bookshelf without reading the instructions (because who needs instructions, right?). I know you warned me, but I thought I could be “that person” who can figure it out on my own. Needless to say, I ended up with a shelf that could barely stand, let alone hold anything.

I know you were probably cringing while I proudly displayed my unique creation. I regret not listening to your wise advice, and I promise to never again underestimate the power of a good set of instructions.
